餐廳這個(gè)詞真的是舶來詞么？在此之前 餐廳叫什么？飯館？還是叫酒店

dining room指家庭中的餐廳，restaurant指餐館飯canteen指食堂

如：My family have dinner in the dining room.

我們家在餐廳吃飯

They go to the restaurant to have dinner.

那位教授有時(shí)在餐廳用膳。

cafeteria，簡稱cafe，餐廳，比較吃飯的，聊，有時(shí)候可以在露天的地方。

canteen，食堂，吃飯地方比較吵的（在中國來說），很少人在這種地方悠閑聊天的。

這是我在國外對這兩個(gè)單詞深刻的體會(huì)。很多單詞都要自己出去后才能夠感受到里面細(xì)微的區(qū)別。
